NORTH?PLATTE?-- Coralee M. Knepp, 70, formerly of Curtis, died Tuesday (June 12, 2007) her home in North Platte.
She was born June 26, 1936, at Bazine, Kan., to Fred and Lydia (Stieben) Schlegel. She attended and graduated from Bazine High School.
She was united in marriage to John H. Miller on April 6, 1953. She later moved to McCook in 1967. She worked at Crescent Electric, McCook Eye Clinic, and Olson's Lab.
Following John's death, she married Andy Knepp on April 15, 1989, in Curtis.
She is survived by her husband, Andy Knepp of North Platte; daughter, Myra and husband, Steve Lezanic of Omaha; son, Kelvin and wife, Leigh Ann Miller of McCook; two step-daughters, Katie Peterson of Wellfleet and Corina Mulford of Kenesaw; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Miller, sister, Winifred, and her parents.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday at the First United Methodist Church in North Platte with the Rev. Charles Spence III officiating. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook.
Visitation is today until 8 p.m., at Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte. The casket will not be open at the church. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com
