Walter, Bitler engagement

Emily Walter of McCook and Joel Bitler of Manistee, Mich., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Ray and Jeanette Walter and David and LeAnn Bitler.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 Culbertson High School graduate and a 2004 graduate of Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sciences. She is employed as a radiochemistry instrument tech.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 Deluth Central High graduate and a 2007 graduate of Front Range College in Fort Collins, Colo., with a RN degree.

The couple is planning a July 21, 2007, in Red Feather Lakes, Colo.
