Pivot upended

A spring thunderstorm pushing through Southwest Nebraska May 29 with high winds and gusts up to 70 miles an hour upended several spans of a center pivot irrigation system south of Cambridge. High winds were in the forecast today and Thursday, with temperatures dropping into the 70s from today's forecast high of 90 degrees.
