"We started hitting the ball really well against Cozad with Premer hitting one out with two people on for a three run homerun," said Rebels Coach Lance Gillen. "As a team we had 11 hits that game, but couldn't hit the ball the rest of the day.

We started Sunday playing the No.1 seed Kearney D'Milaco and we had 16 hits and allowed just five hits against us.

After losing to G.I. Scorpions we played Cozad Classics for third place and won 2-1 allowing four hits. This weekend we played really well against the better teams and struggled against slower pitchers."

The Rebels travel to Hastings this weekend to face Columbus Bullest, Hastings Flames and Colby Sweet Thunder.
