Dame, Feeken wedding

Chelsey Dawn Dame of McCook and Cody Alan Feeken of Cambridge were united in marriage on Feb. 3, 2007, at McCook Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating.

Parents of the couple are David and Cindy Dame of McCook and Dennis and Karen Feeken of Cambridge. Grandparents are Sandra Novak of McCook and the late Marvin Novak, Robert and Verna Dame of McCook, the late Earl and Ola Mae Grote and Robert and Joy Feeken of Cambridge.

The bride wore a white halter dress with a cathedral train adorned with pearls. She wore a pearl headpiece, and her veil was also adorned with pearls. In her bouquet she carried a white and blue handkerchief that belonged to her great-grandmother.

Matron of honor was Brandi Gufford of Omaha. Bridesmaids were Tina Pace and Lyndsay Wall of McCook, Kristin Feeken of Scottsbluff, sister of the bridegroom, and Amber Wilcox of Billings, Mont. They wore navy blue floor length empire waist gowns and carried bouquets of white roses.

The flower girl was Zoey Pace of McCook. She wore a white taffeta gown with a blue sash and had a rhinestone princess crown headpiece. She dropped snowflakes as she walked down the isle.

The bridegroom wore a black tux with a silver vest and tie.

The best man was Mike Johnson of Denver, cousin of the bridegroom. The bridegroom's other attendants were Chipper Witte of Cambridge, cousin of the bridegroom, Ryan Goodenberger of Omaha, Derek Dame of McCook, brother of the bride and Rhett Rogers of Indianola. They all wore black tuxes with navy vests and ties.

The ring bearer was Anthony Amador of Aurora, Colo., cousin of the bride. He had a black tux with a silver vest and tie like the bridegroom.

Ushers were Kyle Novak and Brady Dame of McCook and Adam Hofman of Fort Morgan, Colo., all cousins of the bride. Candlelighters were Bryce Dame of McCook and Matthew Hofman of Fort Morgan, Colo., both cousins of the bride.

The soloist was Adam Wolford of Lincoln and the organist was Christopher Lyons of McCook.

Guest book and gift table attendants were Ann and Corey Sander of Norfolk, cousins of the bridegroom.

A reception and dance followed the ceremony at the Community Building on the Red Willow County fairgrounds. Host couples were Doug and Brenda Hofman of Fort Morgan, Colo., uncle and aunt of the bride and Larry and Deb Fellows of Holdrege, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom.

Cake and punch servers were Brenda Dame of McCook, aunt of the bride, Debbie Petersen of Harrison, aunt of the bridegroom and Sara Fellows of Holdrege, cousin of the bridegroom. Kitchen and buffet line helpers were Gerald and Kristi Novak of McCook and Ron Novak, and Carmen Phillips of Hastings, uncles and aunts of the bride.

Cody Dame of Divine Productions was in charge of photography and videography.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of McCook High School, a 2003 graduate of McCook Community College and a 2005 Graduate of Central Community College with a Licensed Practical Nursing Degree. She works for the Red Cross in Grand Island.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Cambridge High School and a 2001 Graduate of Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland with a Communications Technology Degree. He works for RVW Inc. in Columbus as a telecommunications technician.

The couple is making their home in Grand Island.
