OBERLIN?-- June Harold, 80, died Saturday (May 19, 2007) at Cedar Living Center in Oberlin.

She was born June 4, 1926, on a farm north of Selden, Kan., in Decatur County to Elmer and Rosa (Baxter) Jaderborg. She grew up on the farm and attended Bellview rural school, Decatur Community High School graduating in 1943 and Fort Hays State.

On Feb. 8, 1948, she married Cloyce "Red" Harold. They lived on a farm south of Oberlin, before moving into Oberlin. She worked as a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyce Harold; parents, Elmer and Rosa Jaderborg; and step-grandchild, Colin Borders.

Survivors include her sons, Ward Harold and wife, Dianna of Austin, Texas and Ray Harold and wife, Julie of Hays,Kan.; daughter, Kay Harold and husband Lark Leazar of Clinton, Iowa; brother, Ronald Jaderborg of Westminster, Colo.; sister, Bette Bader of San Francisco, Calif.; four grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin, with the Rev. Judy Stricker officiating. Inurnment will be in the Oberlin Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Parkinson Foundation, Arthritis Foundation and Oberlin Pool Fund.
