Norma G. (Richter) Pennington, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away April 6, 2007 at the age of 70. Formerly of Omaha, she resided in Crestview, Fla.
Norma was born Nov. 12, 1936, in Hayes Center, Neb. She graduated from McCook High School in 1954.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Clarence and Hazel (Hayward) Richter.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Pennington of Crestview, Fla.; sisters, Twila and husband, Dean Brown of San Diego, Calif., and Verda Wegener of McCook; daughters, Paula and husband, Mark Kaestner of Weatherford, Texas, Ramonda and husband, Kerry Naylor of Omaha and Cassandra and husband, Fred Gregory of LaVista; sons, Christopher of Summerlin, Nev., and Anthony and wife, Jessica Richter of Omaha; stepsons, Larry Jr. of Poway, Calif., and Bobby Pennington of Arlington, Texas; step-daughters, Renee and husband, Ralph Schwarz of Nashua, N.H., and Tina and husband, David Condon of Saginaw, Texas. Norma was grandmother to 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Funeral service will be Thursday, April 12, 2007, 11 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home, McCook, Neb., with Pastor John Strecker-Baseler officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation with family receiving friends will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be sent to www.carpenterbreland.com.
