Sydney Opal McLaren and Randall Dean Bauman announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Parents of the couple are Michael and Bonnie Brown of McCook, Lynn McLaren of Denver, Colo., Michael and Loretta Macfee of McCook and Larry Bauman of Greeley, Colo. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Eugene and Marilyn Anderson and Robert and Dorothy McLaren of McCook. Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Ann Macfee of McCook and the late Gerald Macfee and Wayne and Jo Branhan of Bellavista, Ark. The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of McCook Senior High and is majoring in nursing at McCook Community College. She works at Hillcrest Nursing Home. The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate from McCook Senior High and is employed with Hegwood Construction. A June 9, 2007 wedding is planned at Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook.
