RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- Robert "Bob" Rousselle, 99, died Wednesday (March 28, 2007) in Riverside, Calif.
He was born May 22, 1907, to Camille and Sarah (Angermeir) Rousselle in Beaver Crossing.
He married Rachel Cook, Sept. 10, 1927, and farmed in the Culbertson community until 1954, when he bought a motel in Oklahoma?City, Okla. They later moved to Scottsdale, Ariz.,, where they bought a lodge. He retired in Huntington Beach, Calif. In 2003, they moved to a retirement home in Riverside, to be closer the their family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel of 77 years in 2005; sister, Alice Nowka; and five brothers, Albert, Edward Arthur, Roy and Lawrence.
Survivors include his family, Leo and wife, Betty Rousselle of Culbertson, Beulah Brown and husband, Derrell of Mira Loma, Calif., Melva Steiner and husband, Gaius of Hacienda Heights, Calif., Luella Harris and husband, Robert of Missior Viego, Calif.; sister-in-law, Blanch Rousselle of Loveland, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 6, in Riverside, Calif.
