Marian Annamarie (Buzzell) Woodman died Monday (March 12, 2007) at Community Hospital in McCook at the age of 88.
She was born July 21, 1918, at Loveland, Colo., the daughter of the late George and Katherine (Trautman) Fahrenbruch. The family moved to Culbertson in 1921, where Marian grew up and graduated from Culbertson High School.
On Nov. 21, 1992, Marian married Clifford Woodman at Shelton and they spent their married life between Culbertson and Shelton. Her husband, Clifford died Oct. 20, 1994.
She moved to Highland Park in McCook in 2002, where she resided until her death.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and 10 half brothers and sisters.
Marian was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Bethel Chapter 109 Order of Eastern Star at Culbertson.
Marian is survived by one son, Earl M. Buzzell and wife, Sharon of Omaha; one daughter, Janet Korell and husband, Van of McCook; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Sinner of McCook; and relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Culbertson with Rev. Richard Melano officiating. Interment will be in the Culbertson Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in her name and friends may call at Herrmann Chapel in Culbertson on Wednesday from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m.
