CULBERTSON -- Norma M. (Hagemann) McKee, 73, died Monday (March 5, 2007) at her rural Culbertson home.
She was born on Feb. 13, 1934, at Culbertson to William F. and Pauline (Bauer) Hagemann. She graduated from Culbertson High School in 1952. She worked for Hinky Dinky and Nebraska Department of Roads during high school and after graduation. She moved to California and was employed by Ryan Aircraft for 35 years.
On Sept. 28, 1958, she married John Eugene McKee at San Diego, Calif. Together they were owners and operators of the Daniel Boone (distilled spirits) Company, Genie Car Wash, and two card rooms known as Norma's Card Room and John's card room.
She returned to Culbertson in 2004, to help her mother on the farm.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church while in San Diego and St. John's in Culbertson.
Preceding her in death were her father, William Hagemann on Feb. 27, 1988; her husband, John on May 30, 1998; and brother, Robert on May 1, 1969.
Survivors include her mother, Pauline Hagemann of Culbertson; sister, Shirley Sitzman of Liberty, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, 11 a.m. at the Culbertson St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Brad Rick officiating. Burial will be in the Culbertson Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in her name.
