Short-sleeve weather

Under a bright blue sky, in the warm sunshine, Jan Tenbensel nails shingles on the house he's expanding and remodeling in Cambridge. Fifty-five degrees Wednesday afternoon meant he could work outside before another weekend snow storm hits the Golden Plains. Jan and his wife, Jodi, have torn down the west half of one of Cambridge's older homes and are rebuilding kitchen, bath and bedrooms. The project "seems to get bigger and bigger," Jan said, with a chuckle. "It's taking longer, too."
