Stanley D. Jurgensen

GRAND ISLAND -- Stanley D. Jurgensen 51, formerly of McCook, died Tuesday (Feb. 6, 2007), at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 21, 1955, to Dan and Catherine Shirley (Harsch) Jurgensen in McCook. He attended schools in McCook and Grand Island, graduating from Northwest High School in 1973.

On May 23, 1981, he married Miriam Crawford. He was employed at Case New Holland.

He was a member of Assembly of God churches in McCook and Grand Island, and later New Life Community Church where he played the drums and sang in the choir. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Alycia and husband, Matt Purdie and Chelsy Jurgensen; son, Luke Jurgensen; and one sister, Heidi and Jon Watson.

Services will be 2 p.m., Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Brown officiating. 

Visitation is today 3-7 p.m., at All Faiths Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
