Marcie and Bill Luhman
LINCOLN -- Marcie Brush and Bill Luhman, both of Lincoln, were united in marriage Dec. 9, 2006 at the Sheridan Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with Pastor Greg Bouvier officiating.

Parents of the couple are Roger and Betty Brush of McCook and Roy and Gerda Luhman of Graettinger, Iowa.

Maid of honor was Angela Gray of McCook and bridesmaids were Amy Hampton and Cary Hoover, both of Lincoln and Michelle Schiermeyer of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Jack Alexander of Omaha served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Brett Hampton of Lincoln, Dana Green of Brookings, S. D., and Dustin Rath of LeMars, Iowa.

The flower girl was Josie Brown, cousin of the bride, of Gering. The ring bearer was Evan Brush, nephew of the bride, of Omaha. Alexander Anzai, niece of the bridegroom and Ethan Brush, nephew of the bride, of Omaha, served as the candlelighters.

Ushers were Tracy Brush, brother of the bride, of Omaha, Gary Bentrup and Tom Hayes, both of Lincoln.

Pianist was Jan Malone of Lincoln. Guestbook attendants were Kelsey Anzai and Lauren Jensen, both of Omaha.

Host couples were Sharon and Ed Tines of Cambridge and Bill and Ina Mae Voight of Graettinger.

The bride graduated from McCook Community College with an Assocciates of Arts degree and is employed as a administrative assistant for the Nebraska Supreme Court. The bridegroom graduated from South Dakota University with a Bachelor of Science degree and is employed as a microbiologist at Novartis.

After a honeymoon in Chicago, the couple is making their home in Lincoln.
