Travis and Toni Matson
Toni Duckworth and Travis Matson, both of McCook, were united in marriage on Nov. 4, 2006, at the United Methodist Church in McCook, with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating.

Parents of the couple are Bob and Deb Duckworth of Indianola and Dennis and Nancy Matson of Indianola. Grandparents are Dorothy Hubbard and the late Byron Hubbard, the late Barton and Grace Matson, the late Clarence and Judy Linnemeyer and the late John and Dorothy Duckworth.

The matron of honor was Bridget Matson of McCook, cousin of the bridegroom. Bridesmaids were Chandra Baldwin of Scottsbluff, Kimmie May of Indianola, and Tiffany Manley of Culbertson. The brides personal attendent was her cousin, Karla Callan of Ord.

The best man was Tim Matson of McCook, cousin of the bridegroom. Bride groomsmen were Ron Matson of Kearney, Mike Matson of Elm Creek and Bob Matson of McCook, brothers of the bridegroom.

Ushers were Daniel Duckworth of Queen Creek Ariz, brother of the bride and Darin Messersmith of McCook. The soloist was Christine McRae of McCook, niece of the bridegroom and the organist was Evie Caldwell of McCook.

The bride wore an elegant white bridal satin gown designed with a strapless bodice edged at the top with crystal beading and heavily overlaid with beaded appliques. Multiple rows of crystals encircled the waistline which dropped to a V in front. The skirt fell open to reveal an under panel enhanced with beautifully beaded applique motif. Delicate lace and beading finished the hemline with another matching motif atop the semi-cathedral length train.

The guest book was attended by Riley Callan, cousin of the bride, of Ord. A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall in McCook. Hosts were Doug and Mary Thorson of Indianola, aunt and uncle of the bride.

Cake servers were Tami Johnson of Gothenburg, Denise McRae of McCook and Kim Henry of Wray, all sisters of the bridegroom.

The groom is employed with Valmont Industries and the bride is employed with Burns Lab. The couple is making their home in McCook.
