COLBY, Kan. -- Hazel "Lucille" (Kilmer) Long, 100, died Saturday (Jan. 27, 2007) in Colby, Kan.

She was born Aug. 11, 1906, in western Nebraska.

She worked as a school teacher and married Guy James Long. She lived in Bird City, Kan., before moving to Colby.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy in 1968.

Survivors include her daughter, Leanna Schultz of Selden, Kan.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, 10:30 a.m., at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Bird City. Burial will follow in the Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 1-9 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Bird City Library Childrens section.

Knodel Funeral Home of St. Francis is in charge of arrangements.
