REDDING, Calif. -- Albertice Lucille (Kemp) Anderson, 88, died Saturday (Jan. 20, 2007) at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, Calif.
She was born Oct. 11, 1911, in Lebanon, Kan. She married Farrell Anderson and worked as a school teacher for 42 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Farrell, in 1957.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Hafenstein of Palo Cedro, Calif., and Marla Tracy of Redding; three sisters, Marvel Gleason of St. Francis, Alila Carpenter and Iola Wray both of Bird City, Kan.; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 1 p.m., (CST) at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Bird City. Burial will be in the Bird City Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 1-5 p.m., Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis and prior to the services at the church.
Memorials may be given in her name for the family to establish a High School Scholarship Fund for teachers.
