MIDDLETOWN, Ohio --Lori Rene Harris of Middletown, Ohio, and Troy James Barger, formerly of Palisade, were united in marriage July 8, 2006, at the Breiel Boulevard First Church of God in Middletown with the Rev. David Colp officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. David Harris of Middletown and James and Cathy Barger of Culbertson. Grandparents of the bride are Doris Harris of Springfield, Ohio and the late Euclid Harris and the late Robert and Martha Marcum of Hamilton, Ohio. The bridegroom's grandparents are Don and Dorothy Barger of Culbertson, and Lowell Colling of Trenton and the late Elizabeth Colling.

The bride wore a full-length champagne color gown featuring a halter top and bodice embellished with beading and embroidery. She wore her late paternal grandmother's pearls and carried a bouquet of white roses. Her ivory veil was attached to champagne pearls and beads.

The matron of honor was Kelly Probus. Bridesmaids were Meredith Poland, Kathy Clark, Kristi Spoonamore, Jen Stone and Elizabeth Klein.

The best man was Jeffery Barger and the honorary best man was Scott Barger. Bridegroomsmen were Michael Kennedy, Cody Kennedy, Doug Nichols, Bill Harris, and Steven Klein.

The flower girl was Daisy Ray. Ring bearer was Mario Pay. A reception followed at Shaker Run Golf Club, Lebanon.

The bride is a graduate of Anderson University in Anderson, Ind., and is employed by Middletown City Schools as a reading diagnostician. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is employed by Middletown City Schools and Courtney Duff Realtors of Middletown.

After a honeymoon to St. Croix, U.S., Virgin Islands, the couple is making their home in Middletown.
