IMPERIAL -- Vesta Marie Fuller, 73, died Tuesday (Dec. 19, 2006), at Chase County Community Hospital.
She was born Oct. 6, 1933, on a ranch south of Lamar, Colo., to Carl and Pearl (Pierce) Hill. She attended grammar school at Rural District No. 53. She graduated from Chase County High School in 1953 and attended one year of college at Kearney.
She married Lyle Fuller in November of 1954 at the Crete Church west of Champion. They lived south of Ogallala until 1957 when they moved to California where they lived until 1979, when they moved to Champion.
She was a full time homemaker.
She was a member of the Champion Community Church and the Chase County Historical Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Bopp and husband, Jody of Imperial and Carla Soares and husband, John of Arroyo Grande, Calif.; a step-son, Dalton Fuller and wife, Gini of Rapid City, S.D.; a step-daughter, Alona Hewitt of Bellewood; two sisters, Mary Ann Thompson and husband, Harold of Coulpepper, Va., Carol Hoffman and husband, Dave of Effie, Minn.; a brother, Ray Hill and wife, Jacque of Moloki, Hawaii; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Crete Cemetery in Champion with Martin Harmon officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial has been established in her name.
