CURTIS -- Carl J. Presler 95, died Sunday (Dec. 10, 2006) at Sunset Haven in Curtis.

He was born May 16, 1912, at Earl, to Harlan and Carrie (Albright) Presler. He graduated from high school in Orofino in 1929, and earned a teaching certificate at Kearney State Teachers College.

On Feb. 19, 1938, he married Erma Munson. She preceded him in death in 1996. He farmed east of Stockville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Roselyn; and a brother, Harlan.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Ann and husband, Larry Ingram; two sisters, Elsie Frederickson and Gladys Bice of New York; a brother, Kenneth Presler of Oregon; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were today at the Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge with the Rev. Dana Keener officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Stockville Congregational Church.
