HOLBROOK -- Scott Ethan Mock, 38, formerly of Holbrook, died Thursday (Dec. 7, 2006) at Adventist Hospital in Littleton, Colo.

He was born Feb. 11, 1968, at Cambridge to Eldon and Ann (Christensen) Mock. He grew up in the Holbrook area. He graduated from Holbrook High School in 1986. He then graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics, Texas A&M with a Masters in Applied Mathematics, and the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Masters in Physics.

He moved to Colorado in 1993, where he was a computer programmer for Time-Warner Corp in Denver, Colo.

He was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church at Cambridge.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Sophia Mock and Arnold Christensen.

Survivors include his parents, Eldon and Ann Mock of Holbrook; grandmother, Marie Christensen of St. Paul; three brothers, Micheal Mock of West Des Moines, Iowa, Kevin and wife, Natalie Mock of Sandy, Utah, and Kyle and wife, Christy Mock of Ottawa, Kan.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Cambridge, with the Rev. David A. Feddern officiating. Burial will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery in rural Holbrook.

Visitation is today until 8 p.m. at Wenburg Funeral Home in Arapahoe and prior to serv ices on Tuesday at the church.
