O'Dea, Wiechman engagement

Mikayla O'Dea and Brian Weichman

Robert and Brenda O'Dea of Scott City Kan., announce the engagement of their daughter Mikayla Dawn to Brian Gerald Wiechman, son of Susan Wiechman of Scott City and the late Gordon Wiechmann.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Scott Community High School and a 2004 graduate of McCook Community College. She is enrolled in the dental hygiene program at Central Community College in Hastings with plans to graduate in May 2007.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Scott Community College and is engaged in farming with the Wiechman family farm.

The couple is planning a Dec. 16, 2006 wedding at Community Christian Church in Scott City.
