HASTINGS?-- Hastings resident, Florine Marie Fellers, 72, died Tuesday, (Nov. 28, 2006) at Perkins Pavilion.

She was born March 17, 1934, in Norton, to Dave and Opal Marie (Henderson) Leech. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1951.

She served in the United States Air Force from March 26, 1952 to Jan. 26, 1955, in the 25th Communication Squadron attached to USAFE, headquartered in Weisbaden, Germany.

On Oct. 4, 1962, she married John J. Fellers. She was a member of Women in Military Service for America & 37th Star Chapter Daughters of American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and a brother, Dave Leech, Jr.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law: Valorie and Jarry Pollmann of McCook, Holly and Sonny Parker of Maben, Miss., and Zolona and Rick Rader of Hastings; grandchildren and spouses, Audrey and Jon Sevenker, Ashley and Dan DeWitt, Dustin and Tenille Rader, Kailey Rader, Joshua Pollmann and Justin Pollmann.

Graveside services with closed casket with Military Rites will be Friday 11 a.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, in Maxwell with Rev. Jim Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Heritage Senior Center of McCook.

Visitation will be Thursday, 9 a.m. -9 p.m. with family present from 7-9 p.m. at Butler-Volland Funeral Home, in Hastings. Condolences may be sent to www.lbvfh.com..
