Large, Richards wedding

Andrea and Kip Richards

Andrea Large and Kip Richards, both of Hayes Center, were united in marriage on Feb. 11, 2006, at the McCook Christian Church with the Rev. Don Wymore, uncle of the bridegroom and the Rev. Stuart Pederson, uncle of the bride officiating.

Parents of the couple are Joey and Myra Large of Wauneta and Larry "Chip" and Starla Richards of Hayes Center. Grandparents of the bride are Eva Felzien of McCook and Marvin and Arlene Large of Imperial. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Deloit and Joan Messersmith and Laryl "Tuck" Richards, all of Hayes Center.

Stacy Large of Gladstone, Mo., sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tanner Richards of Hayes Center, sister of the bridegroom, Lisa Trost of Omaha, Karyn Schmidt of Omaha, Erica Johnson of Gothenburg, and Kerbie Large of Hayes Center, cousin of the bride.

Buck Richards of Hayes Center, brother of the bridegroom served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Ryan Large of Curtis, brother of the bride, Jesse Korell of Hayes Center, Mitch Hamilton of McCook, Nolan Brott of Colby, Kan., and Weston Richards of Hayes Center, brother of the bridegroom.

C.J. Howard of Hayes Center and Riley and Kodie Egle of Wellfleet, all cousins of the bridegroom, were flower girls. Gatlin Egle of Wellfleet, cousin of the bridegroom, served as ringbearer.

Candlelighters were Becky Jasa and Trisha Fanning, both of Lincoln. Ushers were Tyler Messersmith of Lincoln, cousin of the bridegroom, Derek Richards of Hayes Center, cousin of the bridegroom, Greg Large of North Platte, cousin of the bride, and Marc Werkmeister of Lincoln, cousin of the bride.

Guestbook attendants were Tess Wortman of Cozad and Brooke Korell of Bridgeport. The pianist was Ray Ward of Hayes Center and saxophonist was Chris Braun of Lincoln.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Red Willow County Community Building in McCook. Reception assistants were Larry and Connie Brott, Jim and Jan Singleton, Kenny and Christie Korell all of Hayes Center and Marlene Gigax of McCook.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Hayes Center and a 2003 graduate of Doane College. She is employed by Mousel and Garner, Attorneys at Law and Hitchcock County. The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Hayes Center and is a self-employed farmer/rancher working in rural Hayes County.

After a honeymoon in Las Vegas, Nev., the couple is making their home southeast of Hayes Center.
