KENNESAW -- Kenneth A. "Kenny" Hoerle, 68, died Wednesday (Nov. 8, 2006) near Kennesaw as a result of a pickup-train accident.
He was born Jan. 22, 1938, at Chambers, to Lloyd and Delma (Cady) Hoerle. He was raised and received his education near Chambers
On Oct. 18, 1995, he married Beth Helms. They lived in Indianola for four years until moving to Kennesaw in 1998. He worked as an auctioneer.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife Beth; stepdaughter, Sheree Helms of Omaha; his mother, Delma Cady of Wood River; a sister, Patty Backer of Edmond, Okla.; a step-grandson; a niece; and two nephews.
Services will be Saturday, 10 a.m., at the Evangelical Free Church in Grand Island with the Rev. Curtis Holzworth officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Chambers, Nebraska Cemetery.
Visitation is today until 8 p.m. at the All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island.
