MESA, Ariz -- Richard Blaine Hiatt Jr., 68, passed away on Oct. 29, 2006, in Mesa, Ariz.

He was born in Cambridge on July 28, 1938. He lived out his dreams in many adventures throughout the country. He spent several years living in Mexico during a lengthy illness and then re-located to Apache Junction, Ariz., where he passed away.

He is survived by his son, Trever Hiatt and wife, Karen, and grandchildren Nathan and Nicole of Apache Junction, Ariz.; one step-daughter Tammy Hayden and husband, Joe of Lincoln; step-grandchildren, Doug, James and Alisha Sughroue; grandchildren, Chance, Josh, Brittany, Tommy Slater all of Indianola and Samantha Reddy of Arizona, all from his predeceased daughter, Traci Slater; a sister, Audrey Warner and husband Rod, of Holbrook, and his nephews Terry Dean of Texas and Ronnie Dean of California.
