OBERLIN -- Freda L. Gamblin, 95, died Thursday (Oct. 19, 2006) at Cedar Living Center in Oberlin.

She was born Oct. 18, 1911, in Rawlins County to John and Hilma (Henningsen) Carlson and was raised on a farm south of Herndon. She received her education in Herndon.

She married Lyle Gamblin in 1970 and they lived on a farm in Rawlins County and then moved to Oberlin.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Lyle of Oberlin.

Graveside services are Monday, 2 p.m., at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 8 a.m. at Pauls Funeral Home until the time of the service.

Memorials may be given to the Freda Gamblin Memorial Fund.
