Runway celebration

Airplanes of all sorts such as 60-year-old Aeronicas and Piper J-3s, radio controlled, home built and many others turned out to celebrate the Atwood Rawlins County Airport's new 5,000-foot paved runway, above in an aerial photo. Saturday's celebration included a fly-in breakfast and lunch, drawing visitors from a wide area.
