CAMBRIDGE -- Nicholas Dean Mead, 25, died as the result of a traffic accident on Saturday (Oct. 7, 2006). 

He was born in Denver, Colo., on Nov. 18, 1980, to David L. and Cynthia D. (Peltier) Mead.  He grew up in the Denver area moving to Holbrook in 1998.

 He was employed by Bob and LaVella Farr as a ranch hand.

 He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jane Turner.

Survivors include his mother, Cindy Anderson and husband, Dave of Cambridge; his father David Mead of Arvada, Colo.; one sister, Erin Apodaca and husband, Dean of Littleton, Colo.; two brothers, Brad Peltier and wife, Laura of Cambridge, and Brandon Anderson of Littleton, Colo.; maternal grandfather, Bob Turner of Cambridge; paternal grandparent, Ted and Clara Mead of Mesa, Arz.; and his fiancé, Lindsey Dame of McCook.

 Funeral services will be at the Calvary Baptist Church in Cambridge on Wednesday, at 1 p.m., with Rev Tim Burke officiating.  Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge. 

In lieu of flowers a family memorial has been established in his name.
