Parents of the couple are Sheila Sautter of Grand Island and Susan Vrbas and the late Lawrence Vrbas of McCook. Grandparents of the couple are Blaine and Dorsie Farrar of Curtis and the late Fileen Farrar, Evelyn Mercer and the late Kelly Mercer of Loveland, Colo., Charles and Mary Vrbas, and the late George and Katherine Hastings.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her grandfather Blaine Farrar. Katie Anthony of McCook, sister of the bridegroom, served as maid of honor. Amber Mazankowski of Kearney, Brandi Hinson of McCook, Melissa Detty of McCook and Sarah Sautter of Norfolk, all sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids.
Jason Meyers of McCook brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was the best man. Bridegroomsmen were David Anthony of McCook, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, John Detting of Gretna, Ryan Peters of McCook and Jeff McArthur of Saratoga, Wyo.
Carissa Hanson, niece of the bride and Jaci Meyers, niece of the bridegroom, were flower girls. Logan Vrbas and Alexander Anthony, nephews of the bridegroom, were the ringbearers. Brienna Mazankowski of Kearney, niece of the bride and Joshua Detty, of McCook nephew of the bride, were candlelighters.
Ushers were Kevin Rogers and Michael Hinson, both of McCook. Evie Caldwell of McCook, was the organist and Kelsie Hill of Hoxie, Kan., cousin of the bride was the soloist.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Republican River Valley Event Center's lower patio. Host couples were Jeff and Sandy Frahm of Oakland and Mike and Cindy McConnell of North Platte.
Staci Meyers, sister of the bridegroom, was the guest book attendant. Sheri Farrar of Chicago, Ill., was the cake server and Sherri Rothmeyer of McCook was a reception assistant.
The bride is employed at Hillcrest Nursing Home. The groom is employed with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway.
After a honeymoon cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple makes their home in McCook.
