MANSFIELD, Texas -- Daniel Allen Tangeman, 62, beloved husband and father, formerly of Southwest Nebraska, passed away Oct. 5, 2006, at Community Hospice House in Fort Worth, Texas.

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m., Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2100 N. Davis Blvd. Arlington, Texas.

Dan was born Aug. 16, 1944, in Farmersville, Ohio. The youngest of seven children, he grew up in a very close knit family.

As a husband, father and grandfather, he was an accomplished and hard working man who enjoyed a successful 28 year career with Parker Hannifin. He was a man who brought cheer to everyone he touched, and was always full of fun and laughter.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Mildred Tangeman and two sisters, Rosemary Bonfig and Julienne Tangeman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Cancer Association, 1234 Sherman Avenue Ste. 203,Evanston, IL 60202, designate: Restricted for Research; or to the Community Hospice of Texas, 6100 Western Place Ste. 500, Fort Worth, TX 76107.

Survivors: Wife of 18 years, Eva Tangeman; daughters Beth Burrows, husband Brandon and grandson Jack of Dallas, Texas; Robin Mancha, husband Miguel and granddaughter Sara of Arlington, Texas; Jill Ferguson, husband Ron and granddaughters Kelsey and Juliana of Port Charlotte, Florida; son Michael Morrison, wife Brandi and granchildren Mikayla and Brandon of Wichita Falls, Texas; brothers Dick Tangeman of Pennsylvania, David Tangeman of New Jersey; sisters Julie Tangeman of Michigan, Joanne Guilfoyle of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
