INDIANOLA -- Robert Lee Einspahr, 69, died Friday (Sept. 29, 2006) at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 9, 1937, at Wauneta to Theodore and Susie (Herbert) Einspahr. He grew up and attended school in Wauneta, graduating in 1955. Following graduation, he traveled to Denver, Colo., to work for his brother Don.
On Jan. 29, 1961, he married Marla "Marty" Keller in Denver.
He served in the Army and was stationed at Fitzsimmon's Army Hospital.
The couple moved to Wauneta in 1964 where he was employed at the Coop Elevator. They remained in Wauneta for several years before moving to McCook and then to Indianola where Bob was employed at the Republican Valley Public Schools and Kugler Grain until retiring in 2004.
He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of McCook.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Richard.
Survivors include his wife Marty of Indianola; sons: Terry and wife, Lisa Einspahr of McCook, Chris Einspahr of McCook, Kelly and wife, Lanna Einspahr of Woodstock, Ill., and Kerry and wife, Char Einspahr of Benton, Ill; four sisters, Beulah Purdy of Grant, Millie Long of Wauneta, Norma Schultz and husband, Joe of Wauneta and Delores Cappel and husband, Claude of McCook; three brothers: Wayne Einspahr and wife, Shirley of Sutherland, Don Einspahr and wife, Pat of McCook and Alvin Einspahr and wife, Kay of Enders; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Peace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Bradley Rick officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta.
Visitation will be this evening from 7-9 p.m., at Peace Lutheran Church.
A memorial has been established.
