BEAVER?CITY -- Pauline Ruth Kappers, 73, formerly of Edison, died Friday (Sept. 22, 2006) at the Beaver City Manor.
She was born on Oct. 11, 1932, at Phillipsburg, Kan., to Earl and Mary Ann (Henry) Roller. She grew up in Phillipsburg and attended schools in Phillipsburg.
On Aug. 5, 1950, she married Harold R. Kappers in Phillipsburg. They lived in Holdege in the 50's. They later mov ed to Egar, Greeley, Colo., Alma, Strickland, Oxford and finally Edison in 1966.
After her husband's death in 1968, she moved to Oxford and then to Arapahoe and Elwood. She then moved to Kerrville, Texas in 1998 and San Antonio, Texas in 2004. She returned to Nebraska in 2005 and moved to the Beaver City Manor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; one daughter, Nettie Mae in 1984; and a brother, Orville Roller, Sr.
Survivors include her three sons, Harold and wife, Twila, Bruce and wife, Joan all of Edison, and Timothy and wife, Patty of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Linda Kappers of Kerrville, Texas; two brothers, Darrel Roller and wife, Clara Mae of Greeley, Colo., and Duane Roller of Oxnard, Calif.; one sister, Iva Hinkson and husband, Bryce of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Margie Roller of Cozad; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were today at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, with the Rev. Keith Theobald officiating. Burial followed at the Edison Cemetery.
