Christina and Timothy Nelms

KEARNEY -- Timothy Nelms of Lincoln and Christina Stone of Kansas City, Kan., were united in marriage on April 1, 2006, at the First Lutheran Church in Kearney, with the Rev. Jonathan Jensen officiating.

Parents of the couple are Roger and Rose Nelms of McCook and Marvin and Lucille Stone of Kearney.

Meagan Fong of Kearney, served as maid of honor. Lisa Gull of Lincoln, Eve Blabaum of Lenexa, Kan., and Donna Jung of Yukon, Colo., were bridesmaids.

Adam Hock of Lawrence, Kan., was the best man. Clarence Brown of Kearney, Jared Solomon and Dan Happner both of Lincoln were bridegroomsmen.

Bailey Stone of Longmont, Colo., was the flower girl and Connor Stone of Berthaud, Colo., was the cross bearer. Scripture readers were Lindsay Young and Lisa Thompson. Randy Happel, Patrick Smith, Mason Nelms and Fritz Butac were ushers.

Danielle Stanton and Kari Mulroney were the bride's personal attendants. Kris Young was the bridegroommen's attendant. Mary Ann Knotek and Racheal and Natalie Smith were the musicians.

Host couples were Scott and Karen Fong, Lyndon and Lisa Stone and Troy and Amy Strauch. The guestbook attendant was Marcia Smith. Karen Smith, Kay Poppe and Diane Christensen attended the gift table.

The bride is employed as a clinical dietitian at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. The bridegroom is a student at Kansas University.

The couple are making their home in Kansas City, Kan.
