The family of G.E. (Red) and Irene (Pickrel) Traphagan is hosting a card shower in honor of the couple's 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 22, 1946, at the Memorial Methodist Church in McCook, by the Rev. Carroll Prouty. Their family includes their daughter Susan Yates of Yakima, Wash., son Jerry and wife, Mary of Chadron, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
