Leroy and Sharon Stevenson

Leroy Stevenson of Moorhead, Minn., and Sharon Mockry of Oberlin, were united in marriage July 22, 2006, at the First Assembly of God Church in McCook with the Revs. Gregg Thee and Eddie Wright officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Edwin Black of Oberlin.

The bride's daughter, Ronda Pinkerman of Omaha, was the matron of honor. Janice Johnson of Gardner, N.D., the bridegroom's daughter, was the bridesmaid.

Bob Stevenson of Eureka, Nev., the bridegroom's son, served as best man. Jon Stevenson of Fargo, N.D., also a son of the bridegroom, was the bridegroomsman.

The bride's granddaughters, Abby Pinkerman and Mia Rey Pinkerman, both of Omaha, were the flower girls. Jeaninne Reynolds of McCook attended the guestbook.

Ronda and Lyn Pinkerman were the soloists.

Amber Lorentz of Lincoln was the pianist.

Ushers were the bride's son-in-law, Jeremy Pinkerton of Omaha; the bride's brother-in-law, Stan Reynolds of McCook; and the bride's brother, Lyle Black of Beverly Hills, Calif.

Nancy Collins of McCook coordinated the reception and provided decorations.

The bridegroom's daughter-in-law, Suzy Stevenson of Eureka, served the bride's cake. Twila Scott of Wathena, Kan., served the bridegroom's cake.

Other servers were Leona Nelson and Lois Jane Beneda of McCook.

Following a honeymoon to Colorado Springs, Colo., the couple, both retired, are making their home in rural Oberlin.
