Stacy Large and Mark Schleusener, along with their parents, Joey and Myra Large of Hayes Center and Keith and Vada Schleusener of Utica, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Grandparents of the couple are Marvin and Arlene Large of Imperial, Eva Felzien of McCook, Alfred and Lily Schleusener of Stockton, Kan., and Ted and Irene Freibus of Phillipsburg, Kan.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Hayes Center High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She is employed with Liberty Public Schools and teaches fifth grade.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Nebraska Lutheran High School and a 1999 graduate of Southeast Community College with an Asscociate's Degree in Building Construction Technology. He is employed by Basement Magic in Kansas City, Mo.

The couple is planning a Sept. 23, 2006, wedding at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
