OBERLIN -- Marilyn Grace St. Clair, 80, died Tuesday (Aug. 29, 2006) at the Decatur County Hospital in Oberlin.

She was born Jan. 10, 1926, to Ross William and Mabel (Beckwith) Tice in rural Dresden, Kan. She grew up on the Dresden farm and in Oberlin.

She attended Dresden Grade School and Decatur Community High School, graduating in 1945.

On Nov. 27, 1948, she married Francis St. Clair in Oberlin. They lived in Oberlin, where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Rebekah's Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 13, 1997; her parents; a brother, Merlin Tice; sisters, Maida Anderson and Meldred Dean; and a brother-in-law, Jack Dean.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Reed and husband, Conrad of Colby, Kan.; two sons, Larry of Oberlin and Stephen and wife, Suzann of Bella Vista, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Grace Tice of Mankato, Kan.; four step grandchildren; and two step-great-granchildren.

Services are Saturday at 10 a.m. at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin, with the Rev. Doug Hasty officiating. Interment will be in the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of the service.

Memorials may be given to the Marilyn St. Clair Memorial Fund.
