Dr. Chris and Karen Nix of McCook, announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Marie, to Robert Alan Stanton, the son of Joel B. Stanton and Ruth Ann Dietz. The bride-to-be is a first grade teacher at Lone Star Elementary in Keller, Texas. The prospective bridegroom is in KFC management. An Oct. 14, 2006, ceremony is planned in Destin, Fla. The couple will make their home in Fort Worth, Texas.
