Parents of the couple are Doug and Mary Palmer of Wilsonville and Don Wheelbarger of McCook and Kelly Brown of Atwood. Grandparents of the bride are Carolyn O'Brien of Cambridge and the late Leon O'Brien, and Darrel and June Palmer of Wilsonville. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Maralyn Courange of Treare, Kan., and the late Irvan Courange, and the late James and Jeanie Wheelbarger.
Katie Ballou, the bride's cousin, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kellie Ballou, also a cousin of the bride, and Jennifer Lytle.
The bridegroom's brother Shawn Wheelbarger served as the best man. Bridesgroomsmen were Zach Carfield and Daniel Banda.
The flower girl was Cassidy Mullen, the bridegroom's cousin and the honorary flower girl was Brianna Griffith, the bride's goddaughter. The ring bearer was Casey Coburn, the bride's cousin and the honorary ring bearer was Dominic Wheelbarger, the bridegroom's nephew.
The ushers were Brett and Dallas Palmer, brothers of the bride, and Nathan League and Brett Chmiel. Alter boys were Andrew Schulte and Garett Garniss. The reader was Kathy Schulte, the bride's aunt. Cheryl Sayer was the organist and Joel Miller was the soloist.
Lakin and Kaitlin Brown, sisters of the bridegroom, served as guest book attendants. Sara and Kane Ware, cousins of the bridegroom, handed out programs and the bride's personal attendant was Lisa Griffith. Lilianna Griffith, along with the bridegroom's cousins, Gabe Ware and Trace Mullen, handed out the bubbles.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall in McCook. The host couples were Beto and Cindy Alverado, uncle and aunt of the bride and Doug and Denise League, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom.
The couple honeymooned to Key West, Fla., and Nassau, Bahamas. The bride is employed by Busy Bee Childcare Center. The bridegroom is employed by Wal mart as a service technician. They are making their home in McCook.
