Parents of the couple are Gene and Deb Goodenberger of McCook and Alan and Kindra Oberg of Culbertson. Honored guest were the grandparents of the couple, Marvin and Sharon Rall of Kearney, John and Phyllis Goodenberger of McCook, all grandparents of the bride, and Joylynn Ross and Charlotte Oberg of Culbertson, grandmothers of the bridegroom. Two candles were lit in loving memory of Paul "Butch" Ross and Eddie Oberg, grandfathers of the bridegroom.
Hannah Goodenberger, the bride's sister of McCook, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elaine Prellwitz of Spearfish, SD., Sarah Loecker of McCook, the bridegroom's sister, Kari Oberg of Culbertson, and the bride's sister-in-law, McKinsey Goodenberger, of Minneapolis, Minn. The bride's personal attendant was Lindsay Dame of McCook.
The best man was Ben Varliek of Kearney. Bridegroomsmen were Evan Maynard of Kearney, JJ Roschewski of Kearney, Chris Hageman of Springlake, N.C., and Wade Goodenberger of Minneapolis, Minn. the bridegroom's brother-in-law.
The flower girls were Sarah and Leah Bos, of Malcolm, both cousins of the bride. The flower girl escorts were Grant and Trevor Oberg of McCook, both cousins of the bridegroom. Brooke Sayler and Tina Oberg, served as candle-lighters.
Austin Oberg, the bridegroom's cousin, and Kyle Sayler, the bride's cousin, served as ushers. The guest book was attended by Tori and Neleigh Hauxwell.
A guitar solo was provided by Jason Van Pelt.
Gene and Deb Goodenberger hosted a dinner and dance reception following the ceremony. Reception assistants were Gere and Karen Goodenberger, aunt and uncle of the bride, Steve and Patty Oberg, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom, Sue Rall and Deb Goodenberger, aunts of the bride, and Carma Rouselle, the bridegroom's aunt.
After a honeymoon in Colorado, the couple is making their home in Kearney. The bridegroom is studying athletic training and the bride is studying social work, both at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
