LINCOLON -- Jessika Eckhardt and Christopher Botniff were united in marriage June 17, 2006, at Grace Chapel in Lincoln, with the Rev. Mike Hsu officiating.

Parents of the couple are Darwin and Deb Crawford of McCook, John and Sherri Eckhardt of Minden and Barry and Penelope Botruff of Chadds Ford, Pa.

Grandparents are Geneva Eckhardt of McCook and Terry and Sandy Fisher of Cozad. Great-grandparents are John and Frieda Schneider of Cozad.

Jenny Nelson, of Lincoln, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Adrienne Nelson of Lincoln, the bride's sister, Kati Eckhardt of Minden, the bride's cousin, Stacy Howell of McCook and the bridegroom's sister, Renee Botruff of St. Charles, Ill.

The best man was Stephen King of Eugene, Ore. Bridegroomsmen were Martin Hetzel of St. Charles, Ill., Jeff Mianowski of Fairfax Va., Steve Bohn of Denver, Colo., and the bride's brother, Jakob Eckhardt of McCook.

The flower girl was the bride's step-niece, Mari Farr of McCook. The bride's cousin, Grady Axtell of North Platte was the ring bearer.

Serving as ushers and candlelighters were Andrew Howell of Kearney, the bride's cousin, and Dan Schmidt of Lincoln. The mother of the bride and mother of the bridegroom both lit the memory candle.

A reception at the Cornhusker Social Hall in Lincoln followed the ceremony. Host couples were Brandon and Jessica Halvorsen of Cheney. Jeff and Kerry Nobbman of Lincoln attended the guest book.

The bride has a bachelor of biological sciences degree from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and is employed at FieneSeek as a research lab technician.

The bridegroom has bachelor of business administration degree from UNL and is employed at HobbyTown USA as a franchise business advisor.

After a honeymoon in Las Vegas, Nev., the couple is making their home in Lincoln.
