He was a retired U.S. Air Force major, serving during the Vietnam Era.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edith (Powell)?Sharpe, formerly of Atwood.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Bridges Sharpe of Ashland, Tenn.; two sons, Douglas and wife, Krista Sharpe of Conifer, Colo., and Kenneth and wife, Paula Sharpe of Omaha; two daughters, Pamela Hubbard of Greeley, Colo., and Beth Cavin of Windsor, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry McGuire officiating. Concluding services will be conducted by the Masonic Lodge No. 164 AF&AM of Atwood. Graveside services and interment will be at the Atwood Fairview Cemetery with military honors by McConnell Air Force Base of Wichita, Kan.
