Rice anniversary

The children of Kendall and Virginia Rice will host an open house Saturday, Aug. 5, 2-4 p.m., at the Wilsonville Baptist-Christian Church in honor of the couple's 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 5, 1956, in Scottsbluff at the Plymouth Congregational Church. Their children are Scott and Jan Rice of Wilsonville, Shari and Bart Anderson of Loomis and Steve and Peg Rice, also of Wilsonville. They have eight grandchildren.
