ST. FRANCIS, KAN. -- Robert "Bob" Phillip Zimbelman, 87, died Monday (July 10, 2006) at Cheyenne County Hospital in St. Francis.

He was born Oct. 26, 1918, in Cheyenne County, Kan. He owned and ran Zimbelman Motor Company.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Pauline Zimbelman of St. Francis; two sons, Ron and Eldon Zimbelman both of St. Francis; three brothers, Raymond of St. Francis, Calvin of Burlington, Colo., and Clarence of Boulder, Colo.; one sister, Erna Schlepp of St. Francis; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

His body was cremated. Services will be Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in St. Francis. Family inurnment will follow at the St. Francis Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in his name to the United Methodist Church and the Cheyenne County Hospital.
