ABILENE, Kan. -- Angela Owens, originally of Indianola and Andy Holt, now both of Abilene, Kan., were married April 22, 2006, in Abilene, with the Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.

Parents of the bride are Don and Roxann Owens of Indianola and Jolene and LeRoy Russell of Scott City, Kan. The bridegroom's parents are Walter E. and Sally Holt of Abilene.

Grandmother of the bride is Ann Rau of Grant.

Maid of honor was Andi Carrol of Yardley, Pa. Bridesmaids were Amanda Jeffrey of Lincoln, formerly of Indianola, Kimbra Binns of Scott City, Kan., Tamara Tweedy of Overland Park, Kan., and Jen Barten of Salina, Kan.

Best man was Brandon Holt of Abilene, brother of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were Jason Holt of Solomon, Kan., brother of bridegroom, Matt Barten of Salina, Kan., Matt Owens of Grant, brother of bride, and Todd Kohman of Abilene.

Flower girls were Olivia Holt of Solomon, niece of the bridegroom of Solomon and Amari Jeffrey of Lincoln, goddaughter of the bride.

Candlelighters were Jana Kohman of Emporia, Kan., and Shelly Kohman of Wichita, Kan.

Ushers were Kurt Phillips, Norm Hartman and Brant Taplin,all of Abilene.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Abilene Elks Club. Host couples were Ronnie and Gayle Phillips of Abilene and Mike and Joy Barnett, of Scott City.

The couple took a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas

The bride is a graduate of Republican Valley High School and Kansas State University. She is employed as a registered financial associate at A.G. Edwards and Sons Inc. in Manhattan, Kan.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Chapman High School, Chapman, Kan. and Fort Hays State University. He farms south of Abilene.

The couple will make their home in Abilene.
