BEAVER CITY -- Carole Marie Dally, 52, died Friday (June 23, 2006) at her home in Beaver City, after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born on July 6, 1953, in Brainard, Minn. to Robert Linnell and Catherine Arlene (Wing) Thorne.
She grew up in Bemidji, Minn. Carole graduated from Bemidji High School with the class of 1971. Following graduation she attended Bemidji Vocational School majoring in accounting.
She married Richard (Ricky) Dally on June 17, 1972, in Bemidji, Minn. where they lived until 1986. In the early 90's they moved to Cotton, Minn. and in 1994 moved to Coon Rapids, Minn. The family moved to Beaver City in August of 1998. She started Beaver Valley Soap Company in Beaver City in 2000. She was a member of Friendship Center for Christian Living in Beaver City where she also led various Ladies Bible Studies and was a Ladies Bible Class leader.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Rick of Beaver City; son, Ben Dally; two daughters, Leah and Lydia Dally all of Beaver City; two brothers, Bob and wife Jean Thorne of Bemidji, Minn. and Jim and wife Mary Thorne of Crookston, Minn.
Services will be Tuesday, noon, at Friendship Center for Christina Living in Beaver City with Pastor Bonnie Perkins and Pastor Dean-Ann Levisay, officiating. Additional services will be Thursday, June 29 at 2 p.m. at Blessed Fellowship of Christ our Redeemer Church in East Bethel, Minn. Burial will follow at Our Saviors Lutheran Cemetery, at Pequot Lakes, Minn.
Viewing and visitation will be today until 8 p.m. at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City, and prior to services Tuesday at the church.
