KEARNEY -- University of Nebraska-Kearney men's golf coach Dick Beechner Wednesday announced the names of 14 high school seniors that will join the Lopers next season.
The group includes 13 Nebraskans, 10 who qualified for their state tournament this past fall.
The group also features two athletes that will play another sport at UNK -- Cambridge's Waid Vontz (basketball) and Franklin's Jordan Slocum (football).
Vontz is one of three McCook Daily Gazette area standouts among the recruits.
