Theira D. Garner, 82, died at the McCook Community Hospital on May 29, 2006.
She was born in Haxton, Colo. on March 6, 1924 to Elmer and Marvel (Davis) Potter.
She was married to Edward Dale Campbell in 1946, he preceded her in death in 1953. The couple lived in Wyoming on a ranch. After he husband's death, she moved to Denver in 1955 to be near family. On Nov 5, 1957, she was married to George W. Garner, he preceded her in death in 1995. she then moved to Cambridge to be near her daughter. Her health failed and she moved to McCook to Hillcrest Nursing Home in 2003.
She was a licensed beauty operator. She managed many shops in the Denver area.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, one daughter, Theira Laurea Campbell; a sister Vaye Elaine Kalcevic and a granddaughter, Shauna Kester.
She is survived by her two daughters, Valaine and husband, Howard Kester of Cambridge, and Ann McKee of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five great-grand children; and four step-great grandchildren.
Private family inurnment will be held. Memorial may be left in her name to the American Heart Association.
