LINCOLN -- Marialice D. Renard, 80, died Saturday ( May 13, 2006).

She was born Jan. 1, 1926, to Harold and Edith (Benjamin) Douthit in Red Cloud. She graduated from Curtis High School, where her father served as superintendent of the Curtis School of Agriculture

She was a long time University of Nebraska -- Lincoln employee, she was the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Agriculture.

She was a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church, P.E.O. International and A.A.R.P.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Mell Renard; and granddaughter, Kayleigh Stokes

Survivors include her daughters Laura and husband, Jim Consolazione of Downer's Grove, Ill, Diane Stokes of Beaverton, Ore., and Carol and husband, Martin Wells of Lincoln; sisters Jan Weir of Boulder, Colo., and Judy and Bob Todd of Salinas, Calif; a brother Harold and wife, Mary Douthit of Sandusky, Ohio; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, at 3 p.m., at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Dan Safarik will officiate. The body will be cremated, there will be no visitation. Inurnment be at Lincoln Memorial Park.
